CUSTOM FURNITURE FABRICATION
There's a version of your space that mass-produced furniture will never reach. Custom furniture is how you get there. At Matulis Works, we design and build custom furniture to your exact specifications. Every piece is hand-built in our Oklahoma City workshop using premium materials.
We build it all: dining tables, coffee tables, console tables, side tables, nightstands, desks, media consoles, beds, benches, bar cabinetry, and beyond. If you can imagine it, there's a good chance we can bring it to life. Our collaborative design process means you don't need to show up with blueprints. A photo from Pinterest, a rough sketch, or a general idea of what you're after is enough to get started.
All of our pieces are finished with professional-grade lacquer finishes to ensure your furniture holds up to daily living. Pricing for custom furniture pieces typically starts around $2,500 to $3,000 for smaller items like side tables and nightstands, while larger statement pieces like dining tables and desks typically range from $5,000 to $10,000 or more, depending on materials and complexity.
CUSTOM CABINETRY
Custom cabinetry transforms a room in a way that nothing else can, and unlike stock or semi-custom cabinets, it's designed to fit your space perfectly, rather than forcing your space to fit it.
Matulis Works designs and builds custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, home offices, mudrooms, laundry rooms, bars, and commercial spaces. Every cabinet is built to the exact dimensions of your space and designed around how you actually live and work in it. We consider storage needs, hardware selection, finish, and integration with your existing architecture before a single board is cut.
We work comfortably from client-provided design concepts, interior designer specifications, or from scratch through our own design consultation process. If you have a vision for a built-in bookcase, a custom entertainment center, a walk-in closet system, or a full kitchen remodel, we'd love to hear about it.
CUSTOM METAL FABRICATION
Steel and mixed-material construction are as much a part of what we do as wood. Many of our most distinctive pieces, coffee tables with welded steel bases, brushed brass console tables, arched steel mirrors, and commercial bar shelving, are built using metal fabrication techniques alongside our woodworking.
Matulis Works offers custom metal fabrication for furniture, architectural elements, and commercial installations. We're comfortable working in raw steel, powder-coated finishes, brushed brass, and blackened steel, and we regularly combine metal and wood in mixed-material builds that you simply won't find anywhere else. If your project involves welded steel, custom metal legs or bases, decorative metalwork, or a full steel-and-wood build, we can handle it from design through delivery.
REPAIR, RESTORATION & REFINISHING
Some of the most meaningful furniture isn't new. It's the dining table your grandmother used every day, the credenza you've had for twenty years, or the vintage piece you found that just needs a second life.
Matulis Works provides professional furniture repair, restoration, and refinishing services for heirloom pieces, antiques, and modern furniture alike. Whether you're dealing with a structural repair, a damaged surface, a finish that's worn through, or a piece that needs a complete strip and refinish, we assess each piece individually and give you an honest recommendation on what it needs.
